The Import/Export module gives you the power to import data directly into Accounting or Payroll. Learn how to import vendors, customers, and even accounting transactions!

This demonstration course follows the import process from start to finish, thoroughly covering the most commonly used import and export options. After the presentation participants complete practice exercises and correspond with the session leader via e-mail.

By the end of the class, you will be able to:

  • Identify the sections of a definition file and understand how they are used.
  • Apply transaction specific formatting statements.
  • “Match” a definition file to a data file using format statements.

    custom dashboards of your organization’s data on day one. Beginning with navigation and customizing your workspace, you’ll then learn how to use the product’s built-in dashboards to create custom dashboards with widgets and data that are of interest to you.

    By the end of the session, you will be able to:

    • Log into MIP Cloud to manage your user account and use common navigation terminology
    • Distinguish between KPIs and Charts
    • Use default dashboards for analysis
    • Refresh, filter, and customize the dashboard.

    FA331 – MIP Fund Accounting Data Consolidation: Self-study

    This self-study course covers how to create a Client Consolidation file for each of the client organizations that are to be combined. The participants will learn how to create the consolidation organization. The requirements of the client organizations as well of those of the consolidation organization are covered in detail. The course also outlines the Maintain Accounting selections available in the consolidation organization and provides an overview of the available aggregated reports.

    Note: In order to complete the class activities, a special training database, only available to On Premise customers, must be installed prior to the start of your session.     MIP Fund Accounting DrillPoint Reporting provides additional reporting tools that leverage the familiar Microsoft Excel ® workbook. Attend this class to learn how to create, manage, and distribute fully customized and board-friendly financial reports. This course covers creating customized complex Excel based financial reports using your MIP Fund Accounting data. The use of templates, formatting, formulas, and drill-down access will be introduced using real world financial reports.

    Note: MIP Fund Accounting DrillPoint Reporting is a separate module. To get the most from the training experience participants must install the module and be assigned Designer rights prior to class.

    By the end of the session, you will be able to:

    • Create customized report templates
