This recorded sesssion will discuss creating an organization’s accounting database, and performing general application housekeeping and administration. You will receive an overview of the structure and design of the components of the database and in-depth information on the utilities that control the database itself and the integrity of the data entry process for the database.

By the end of the session, you will be able to:
- Navigate within both MIP Cloud interfaces: the modern user interface and the classic user interface.
- Create a new organization database and modify organization settings.
- Attach encrypted documents in the cloud and manage categories
- View available activity and audit logs
- Initiate data integrity checks and review the default table structure

Building on the topics discussed in the Core Accounting workshop, this advanced 2-day course is ideal for Controllers or Chief Financial Officers responsible for high level administrative tasks and advanced financial reporting. Topics discussed in this course include: accounting administration, general ledger, and general reporting, a deep dive into financial statements, and advanced financial statement features, and fiscal year closing activities.
To get the most from this course we recommend that customers first take the FA101 – MIP Fund Accounting Core Workshop or have at least six months experience working with a variety of transactions and creating custom reports.

This course is designed for the administrator responsible for system management. It addresses database management, housekeeping and security in the Administration system. The class covers how to create and manage an organizational database as well as how to set up users and grant security rights to the Administration, Accounting and Payroll systems.
